The NCRG has two main avenues for funding research on gambling disorders: Project Grants and the NCRG Centers of Excellence in Gambling Research. For more information on these programs, you can navigate through the NCRG-funded Research section by the links on the right.
The NCRG was the first organization in the U.S. to establish a competitive research grants program for peer-reviewed investigations of gambling disorders and youth gambling. More information on the grant categories and NCRG-funded projects in progress can be found on our Project Grants page. Additional information on grant deadlines and application instructions can be found on the Apply for NCRG Funding page.
The NCRG supports in-depth, ongoing research at NCRG Centers of Excellence in Gambling Research at the University of Minnesota and Yale University. Additional information about both centers and their researchers can be found on the NCRG Centers of Excellence in Gambling Research page.
